Stone paper is made by a series of processes using raw materials such as calcium carbonate and polyethylene. Currently, there are three main processes for producing stone paper: blow film process, flow stretching process, and rolling process. Today, the editor will introduce the blow film process of the stone paper production line.
The specific process of stone paper blown film technology is as follows:
Raw material mixing: Mix calcium carbonate, polyethylene and other raw materials in a certain proportion evenly to ensure that the quality and composition of the raw materials meet the requirements.
Heating and melting: The raw materials are fed into the hopper of the film blowing machine and heated to melt into a molten material.
Blow film extrusion: Melted raw materials are extruded through a screw extruder to form a tubular film, which is then compressed and flattened into a thin and uniform stone paper film through a die head.
Cooling solidification: Quickly cool the blown stone paper film through a cooling roller or other cooling equipment to solidify it into shape.
Roller flattening: Using a roller pressing device to flatten and polish the stone paper film, eliminating bubbles and unevenness on the surface of the film, and improving the surface texture.
Rolling and cutting: The cured stone paper film is rolled and fed into a cutting machine for longitudinal and transverse cutting, and the length is determined according to the specifications required by the user.
Packaging and storage: The cut stone paper rolls or pieces are inspected and packaged, and the final product is stored in the warehouse or sent to the customer.
The blown film process of the stone paper production line is relatively simple, but it is the most efficient among the three mainstream processes. Currently, stone paper produced using the blown film process in the market is mainly used in packaging, printing, construction and other fields.
