The polyethylene extruded foam net is developed on the basis of the polyethylene extruded net. 1. Principle of Extrusion Net Forming
The extruder continuously melts and extrudes the uniformly plasticized material, and passes through a special rotating head to form two strands of molten material flowing in different directions. When they merge to a combination point (intersection point), a grid is formed. After extruding and foaming, it is cooled and shaped into an extruded foamed net. The mold is composed of two parts, an inner mold and an outer mold that rotate with each other. The mold openings of the inner and outer molds each have the same number of semicircular holes. When the plastic enters the mold, the semicircular holes are combined with each other to form a full circle shape. If the semicircular holes are not combined, two semicircular strips are formed.
