The combination of upward motion and tangential motion makes the material in continuous spiral upward and downward motion. Due to the high speed of impeller and the fast movement of material, the fast-moving particles collide and rub with each other, resulting in the fragmentation of the mass, the temperature of the material increases correspondingly, and the cross mixing is carried out rapidly. These effects promote the uniform distribution of components and the absorption of liquid additives. The baffle in the mixing chamber further disturbs the flow pattern of the material, makes the material form random motion, and forms a strong vortex near the baffle. For the impeller installed in high position, the material forms continuous cross flow both above and below the impeller, so the mixing speed is faster. After mixing, the jacket is filled with cooling medium, and the cooled material is discharged from the discharge port under the action of impeller. The mixing speed of the high-speed mixer is very fast, which is very beneficial for the materials that are heat sensitive or not suitable for long "heat course". The material filling rate is also a factor affecting the mixing quality. Small filling rate and large material flow space are conducive to mixing, but the small filling amount will affect the output; large filling rate will affect the mixing effect, so it is necessary to select an appropriate filling rate. Generally, the filling rate between 0.5 and 0.7 is more appropriate. For high position impeller, the filling rate can reach 0.9.
