1. Extruder
Generally, the screw of Guancun extruder is equal energy and unequal depth cut screw with straight diameter of 30 ~ 4mm. The extruding machine adds the over speed plate and the over speed net at the junction of the discharge and the outlet plate. 2. Die
When the plastic pipe is produced in a given extruder, the diameter of the plastic pipe should be controlled in the range of 30 ~ 130% of the screw diameter. For twin-screw extruder, it can be controlled in the range of 45 ~ 450% of the screw diameter. See table 9-12 for the die specification and extrusion mechanism of rigid PVC pipe in China. Extrusion die is to keep a certain plastic state for the plasticized material, and produce a certain pressure to make the plastic shape.
(1) Pipe extrusion die type pipe extrusion is caused by stomatitis and flow direction of extruder, and the screw and pipe of extruder are concentric: this kind of die is simple in structure, easy to manufacture, so the cost is low, but it is not easy to remove the compound line produced by splitter grid ribs, and the die is bulky. The structure is shown in figure 9-131. Straight through die structure is suitable for hard PVC, soft PVC, PE, PA, PC, etc.
① The flow direction of the material in the die, that is, the direction of the extruded pipe, is at right angles to the conveying direction of the extruder, as shown in Figure 9-13. This kind of die has no dividing grid ribs, so it doesn't produce blending line; the dividing is in the form of mandrel, so it is difficult to manufacture and the cost is high. It is suitable for pipe production with high sizing accuracy, especially for PE, PP and PA pipes with inner diameter setting.
② The material flow in the die and the screw of the extruder is the same, that is, there is no splitter bar and no mandrel, and the material enters the setting section through the sieve plate hole. This structure is especially suitable for the production of large diameter polyolefin pipe. The extruded pipe has no weld mark and blending line. It should be noted that: when producing large diameter thick wall pipe, in order to make the wall thickness uniform, the mold sleeve should be able to adjust the eccentricity. Generally, the gap between the mold sleeve and the core mold is 10 ~ 18% smaller than the upper gap, and the screen plate extrusion die is suitable for PE, PP and other plastics. ⑧ The flow direction of the material in the die and the extruder is the same, which can be either sieve plate hole structure or right angle structure. It can be seen from figure 9-13ii that it is a round double-layer special-shaped pipe die. The flow direction of material in the die and extruder is consistent, and the sieve plate hole structure can be used. It can be seen from figure 9-14 that one is a round double-layer special-shaped pipe die.
(2) When the inner diameter of the annular hole is greater than 3 / 5 of the outer diameter, the material flow is a special one-dimensional flow. Generally, the inner diameter of plastic pipes is greater than 3 / 5 of the outer diameter.
