1. BOPS diaphragm performance characteristics
The BOPS diaphragm meets the environmental requirements and has a tendency to replace PVC. It has the following characteristics:
1) Outstanding optical performance, light transmittance of up to 92%, can greatly improve the packaging effect, about 90% for food packaging.
2) The price of PS resin is slightly higher than that of PVC resin, but its density (1.05g/cm3) is smaller than that of PVC (1.38g/cm3). The same quality sheet, BOPS is 23% more than PVC film. In addition, PVC processing needs the addition of auxiliaries, the total price of raw materials required for each ton of finished film is roughly the same. Therefore, from the price point of view, the BOPS film is easily accepted by people.
3) The BOPS diaphragm has higher strength. The thickness of the BOPS diaphragm can be reduced by 10% compared with the thickness of the PVC diaphragm. In addition, the BOPS diaphragm has a higher tear strength and the sheet is bent 180. Do not split.
4) It is easy to process, can be quickly formed by molding, and is more suitable for deep drawing than PVC film sheet, and the molding shrinkage is not more than 1%.
5) Wide temperature range (-60~85°C), suitable for packaging of frozen food.
6) It is non-toxic, has no peculiar smell and has good hygiene.
7) Higher water vapor and gas transmission rate than PVC diaphragms, suitable for packaging that meets this need.
8) Good chemical resistance, the product can adapt to various uses in acid and alkali environment.
9) Easy to print, decorate and cut. It can be processed by traditional offset printing, silk screen printing, coating compounding, vacuum coating and other post-processing techniques.
