Main factors affecting composite fastness
1) The cleanliness of the substrate should be kept in the transportation, storage, slitting, compounding and other aspects to maintain the cleanliness of the surface of the substrate, so as to prevent dust from being sandwiched between the layers, resulting in a decrease in composite fastness.
2) The composite temperature varies depending on the type of film and adhesive. For polyethylene, polyester film and two-component adhesive, it is generally controlled at 40 to 50 ° C, which can be determined by plotting the relationship between composite temperature and peel strength.
3) Drying temperature, depending on the type of substrate film and the type of solvent, the temperature is too high, the surface of the adhesive hardens prematurely to form a film, which affects the volatilization of the internal solvent, resulting in an increase in residual solvent of the film and a decrease in adhesion. Therefore, the temperature is gradually increased in stages, such as: the first section 40 ° C: the second section 60 ~ 70 ° C; the third section 80 - 90 ° C
Often, the pressure between the rolls of the drying tunnel is called the composite pressure, and the pressure is increased to improve the composite fastness, and considering the operation of the whole machine, generally 0.25-0.3 MPa is selected.
4) Composite pressure, the pressure between the composite steel roller and the rubber roller is called composite pressure, the pressure increase is beneficial to the improvement of the composite fastness, and considering the operation of the whole machine, generally 0.25-0.3MPa is selected.
5) The special treatment of the surface of the polyethylene film, generally using corona treatment, the surface polarity is increased, the adhesion is increased, thereby improving the fastness, and the surface tension after the treatment is greater than 40 mN/m.
