Glass fiber reinforced PVC window frame

       At present, my country has introduced nearly 200 PVC production lines, but not many of them are actually produced with doors and windows. In addition to price factors, there are also factors such as the strength, dimensional stability and weatherability of PVC profiles that cannot meet the requirements of doors and windows. In the case of domestic production of PVC, window frames and sashes use the same formula. In the window structure, the window frame is the frame, and the bearing capacity is greater. The strength of the window frame material should be higher than that of the window sash material. To this end, the developer has made some improvements to the window frame formula. This example introduces the production and processing of glass-enhanced PC frames.
      1. Material selection and formula design
       1) The addition of the adhesion modifier can improve the adhesion between the glass fiber and the PVC resin, thereby improving the impact resistance. Chlorinated polyethylene, ethylene ethylene acid copolymer (EVA), ABS and MBS can all be used as adhesion modifiers, and one or more of them can be used. The dosage (parts by mass) is: 5-20 parts per 80 to 100 parts of resin is appropriate. When the dosage is controlled within this range, the linear expansion coefficient does not increase, and the product has good physical properties such as impact resistance and rigidity. If the dosage is less than 5 points, the expected effect will not be achieved. If the dosage exceeds 20 parts, the linear expansion coefficient will increase.
       2) The processing modifiers are mainly acrylic polymers, such as polymethyl methacrylate (PMA) and methacrylic methacrylate styrene terpolymer (MAS). One or more of them can be used. Its dosage (parts by mass) is: it is advisable to add 1-5 for every 100 parts of resin. When the dosage is controlled within this range, the linear expansion coefficient will not increase, and it has a good synergistic effect with the adhesion modifier, so that the physical properties such as impact resistance and rigidity of the product are maintained well. If the dosage is less than 1 part, it does not meet expectations. Effect; if the amount exceeds 5 parts, the linear expansion rate will increase
      3) The amount of glass fiber added (parts by mass) is preferably 5-50 parts per 100 parts of resin. When the dosage is controlled within this range, the processability and impact resistance are not affected, and the product has good stability and rigidity. If the amount is less than 5 parts, the intended purpose will not be achieved; if the amount is more than 50 parts, the processing performance will become worse, the appearance of the product will deteriorate, and the impact resistance and weather resistance will decrease

      4) The amount of mica flakes (parts by mass) is preferably 5-30 parts per 100 parts of resin. When the amount is controlled within this range, the processability and impact resistance will not be affected, and the dimensional stability of the product will be good. If the amount is less than 5 parts, the expected effect will not be achieved; if the amount is more than 30 parts, the processability will be deteriorated, the appearance of the product will not be smooth, and the impact resistance will decrease.

      5) The amount of calcium carbonate (parts by mass) is preferably 10-50 parts per 100 parts of resin. When the dosage is controlled within this range, the weather resistance and impact resistance will not decrease, the rigidity of the product will be improved, and the dimensional stability will be good. If the amount is less than 10 parts, the expected effect will not be achieved; if the amount exceeds 50 parts, the impact resistance and weather resistance will deteriorate.
