(1) Rubber plate
The rubber plate uses natural rubber or synthetic rubber as the raw material, and is made by the engraving method or the molding method () the manual engraving method. This is the earliest plate-making method used to make flexographic plates, similar to engraving rubber stamps. First paste the good patterns and text on the surface of the rubber plate, and then carefully engrave it into a relief plate by hand, and then paste the carved rubber onto the plate roller of the rotary printing machine. The printing speed is slow and the accuracy is poor. , Can only print some low-grade corrugated boxes, packaging kraft paper, woven bags and other plastic packaging materials with simple patterns. Paste can use 501 or 502 universal adhesive or double-sided tape.
(2) Molding method Molding method plate-making is divided into three steps
(1) Preparation of metal relief plate (original plate). The original image and text are photographed into a negative negative film using the photo-engraving method, and photosensitive glue is coated on the surface of the metal plate (copper, zinc), and the metal plate is exposed, developed, and corroded into a metal relief plate.
(2) The pressing template is made of metal relief plate, and thermosetting resin (resin) is used as the material on the pressing machine, and the four-shaped template is obtained by heating and pressing
(3) Pressing the rubber relief plate and spreading a rubber sheet (natural rubber or synthetic rubber) on the top of the mold plate, and then vulcanizing, moulding and curing to make a rubber plate. Then, according to the thickness required for printing, the back of the printing plate can be ground down, and then the printing can be installed on the machine. The graphic precision of the molded rubber plate is better than that of the hand-engraved rubber plate. One template can repeatedly press multiple rubber plates.
