Polystyrene film manufacturing method
The manufacturing method of the polystyrene film can be roughly divided into three categories.
1) Extrusion molding method, which can obtain two types of films, namely, a colorless transparent GPPS film and a synthetic rubber-reinforced milky white HIPS film such as butadiene resin. The two films are almost all made of vacuum-formed containers for food packaging, etc. For repeated use of food containers, a mixture of GPS and HmPs mixed in a certain ratio is used.
2) The biaxially stretched polystyrene film is generally a transparent product, which is thermoformed into a container such as a shallow plate or a cup box.
3) Expanded polystyrene film, also known as polystyrene paper (PSP), can be produced in the following two ways: 1 styrene is infiltrated into a foaming agent, and then polymerized into expandable polystyrene pellets. Since the film is made into other films, the film is used less and other molded products are used. 2 A foaming agent is added to the styrene monomer, and then heated and foamed in a hot melt extruder to form a sheet-like expanded polystyrene.
Expanded polystyrene film, relatively low density, light weight, good thermal insulation performance, high cushioning, pure white appearance, and other polystyrene.
PSP is mainly used for pallets (for automatic packaging), cups and small boxes, etc., mainly using its thermal insulation properties.
