The production process of the casting film production line should not be divided into raw material pretreatment, extrusion, cooling, stretching, and coiling. The produced casting film is widely used in packaging, construction, medical, and electronic fields. Today, we will briefly introduce the production process of the downstream film production line.
1、 Raw material pretreatment
The raw materials for the casting film production line are mainly thermoplastic plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene, which require pre-treatment before being used for extrusion. The main process of pre-treatment includes raw material drying, screening, and mixing. Firstly, put the raw materials into a dryer to remove moisture, then remove impurities and particles through a filter, and finally mix the raw materials of different colors and varieties evenly.
2、 Extrusion
Extrusion is the core link of the casting film production line, whose purpose is to heat and melt the pre processed plastic particles, and then extrude them into a strip film through an extruder. The main components of an extruder include a hopper, screw, screen, and die head. During the extrusion process, plastic particles enter the screw from the hopper, undergo heating and extrusion, and are extruded into a ribbon film through the die head.
3、 Cooling
The extruded film strip needs to be cooled to solidify and form, and there are two main cooling methods: natural cooling and water cooling. Natural cooling refers to placing the membrane strip on a flat plate and cooling it with natural air, which is suitable for the production of thin films. Water cooling is the process of cooling the membrane strip through a water tank, which has a fast cooling speed and is suitable for the production of thick films.
4、 Stretch
Stretching is to improve the physical properties and mechanical strength of the membrane, making the membrane strip more uniform and flat. There are two main methods of stretching: unidirectional stretching and biaxial stretching. Unidirectional stretching is the process of stretching a membrane strip through a set of rollers, causing it to stretch in a certain direction. It is suitable for producing stretch films and high-strength films. Biaxial stretching is stretching in two directions, suitable for producing films with high transparency and strength.
5、 Coiling
Rolling is the process of rolling stretched film strips into rolls for easy transportation and use. There are two main methods of coiling: automatic coiling and manual coiling. Automatic coiling is the process of automatically rolling film strips into rolls through a coiling machine, which can achieve continuous production and high efficiency. Manual coiling requires manual operation and is suitable for small batch production.
In summary, the process flow of the casting film production line includes processes such as raw material pretreatment, extrusion, cooling, stretching, and coiling. Through scientific production processes and technological means, stable quality and excellent performance cast film products can be produced to meet the needs of different fields.
