(1) Equipment conditions Extrusion molding production mode of PVC welding rod is the same as that of PVC rigid pipe. After the raw materials are plasticized into molten state by the extruder as shown in Fig. 10-10, the cylindrical shape is extruded from the die mouth, and then the product is cooled, shaped and cut off. It can be seen from Figure 10-9 that the main equipment used for extrusion molding PVC welding rods are extruder, molding die, cooling water tank, cutting device and other equipment.
① Extruder Plastic electrode extrusion molding generally uses small size extruder, which has no special requirements for screw structure. Universal extruders for extruded PVC materials can be used.② Forming mold The structure of the plastic electrode forming mold is very simple, as shown in Figure 10-11.
The structural characteristics of the electrode forming die, that is, the cavity of the molten material is gradually reduced, and no expansion of the material flow is allowed; As the amount of materials used for electrode forming is small, the material flow resistance in the mold is large. Note that the forming section should not be too long.
(2) The PVC electrode is mainly made of suspension PVC SG4 resin, and a certain proportion of plasticizer, stabilizer and lubricant are added to form the raw material formula. The reference formula for extrusion molding of PVC electrodes is as follows (weight share): 100 shares of PVC (PVC SG4), 7 shares of dioctyl phthalate (DOP), 5 shares of tribasic lead sulfate (3PbO), 2 shares of barium stearate (BaSt), and 0.5 shares of paraffin.
